There are many people who deserve thanks for participating in my young farmers research. These include those who have contributed directly, as well as organisations that supported it.

Below is a list of those who deserve my many thanks.

• The research participants: the young farmers of the Mid North region of South Australia. 
  The young farmers provided their time for interview and feedback on several occasions. Without their support, this research would not have been completed.  The research was conducted during a time of severe drought in South Australia. The young farmers involved showed great commitment to farming and their land during consecutive years of financial hardship and drought.
• Young farmers in the Southern Mallee of South Australia
  The young farmers participated in a repeat study of the original research. Many thanks to them for their time and support, for interview and follow-up feedback.  They were also in the grip of drought at the time of the research.
• My research colleague Bradley Morgan
  Bradley assisted with interviews and analysis for the research. This involved a lot of personal time and commitment, and I really appreciate his involvement.
• Mid North Health
  Melissa Koch and her team always supported my research, and provided encouragement and feedback.  They continue the support of young farmers in the Mid North –  and these workers are the people who work daily with young farmers.
• Country Health SA
  This organisation provided funding from the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing. The funding supported the data collection in both regions, and this was very much appreciated.
